Research into Institutions - Jodie Rider

Institution - Cheaper By the Dozen

This film is a film about a family that have some ups and downs, the mum goes away for a opportunity for a job so the dad has to look after the 12 children, very family orientated. This film is a comedy/family.  The film was released on the 25th of December 2003 in the USA.  Over the first part you see credits. The production companies are The Twentieth Century Fox Film Cooperation and Robert Simonds Production. The budget for this film was $40,000,000 and the gross was $138,614,544 which is a big profit they have made, the film has been successful.

There are many different productions for films but there are more popular productions used. Examples are 20th Century Fox, DreamWorks Animation, Universal Studios, and Columbia Pictures. The 20th Century Fox has been very successful with films and is very popular some of the films that have been released by them are Die Hard, Home Alone, Garfield, and Planet of the Apes. These films have got very big profit and have been very successful.

Distribution is where a film is related through the successes of producers, writers, directors and performers. It markets the film and sometimes can depend on the release date for the film; it can either be theater or home videoing.  A distribute can be limited and only be in charge of releasing DVD’s and blue rays. To actually distribute a film it is not easy it is quite hard, the hardest part isn't producing the film it is the distribution. Distributes become interested in the film after seeing it at a film festival and watching the audiences reactions to see if it would be a success.
